The Schram Academy group of schools is the product of the vision of its late Founder and Chairperson, Late Dr. Elizabeth Schram. Her grand vision was to establish schools of excellence where education was meant to be transformational. She was successful in setting up vibrant and futuristic learning spaces in the heart of Chennai city. The first campus was instituted in the year 2000 in Park Road, Anna Nagar (West Extn), Chennai as a pioneer school in Early Childhood Education. In just 2 years a new campus was set up in Maduravoyal and it is now a K – 12 campus affiliated to the CBSE. In 2013, another campus following the CBSE and Cambridge curricula was established in Ayanambakkam. Today, The Schram Group of Schools stands tall imparting quality education to about 3000 young learners. The future will see more expansions as TSA works towards making itself a model institution where learning is organic, innovation its identity and excellence its motto!

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Good grades and a genuinely happy, thriving child are not the same thing – though we often treat them as if they were. At The Schram Academy, we try to hold both, not just one. Our CBSE framework demands rigour, and we take that seriously. But a mark sheet only ever tells you a fraction of who a child is. It says nothing about whether they asked a brave question in class, whether they made up with a friend after a fight at recess, whether they felt safe enough to say “I don’t understand” out loud, or whether they left school a little more curious than when they arrived.
That is the whole child – thinking, feeling, growing, and struggling all at once, often in the same hour. Meeting all of that, not just the part that shows up on a report card, is the work we have set for ourselves. It means teachers who notice when a usually talkative child goes quiet. It means classrooms where mistakes are treated as experiences, not failure. It means taking a student’s friendships, fears, and physical wellbeing as seriously as their algebra. None of this is soft or secondary – it is the harder, more essential work of education, and it is what we are building here, one happy child and one day at a time.
We believe every child is a gift from God, entrusted to us for a season, and we take up that trust with care and conviction. Together, with God’s grace, we hope to raise not just capable students, but whole, grounded human beings.
